Classion
Game-based learning, done right

Build a food web. Watch it call your bluff.

This is a Classion game — where playing is the lesson and the test at once. Add a few species, hit run, and watch it read your reasoning back to you, exactly like it reads all 30 of your students.

it's live, not a screenshot — poke it →

This is one game, shrunk to a taste. Classion is a whole library of them — genuinely fun games, built by game designers and teachers together, each one teaching a real idea and quietly showing you who's got it and who's faking.

Every "educational game" is a quiz in a costume. We threw out the quiz.

Game-based learning is exploding — and most of it is a worksheet with points, built by studios that bolt a lesson on at the end. We do it the other way around: educators and game designers build the idea into how you play, so the fun and the learning are the same move. You just felt it work.

what you actually get back

A grade says a kid missed it. Classion says what they were thinking when they did.

A quiz app hands you

6/10

Four wrong. But which four, and what idea broke? No clue. Good luck guessing what to reteach.

Maya — after one 15-minute game

Solid Builds real chains, producer to consumer, every time. The structure's there.

Shaky Thinks one big plant beats a varied web. Keeps betting everything on it — keeps getting wiped out.

Do this tomorrow: ten minutes on why variety survives a bad year, then hand her the survival challenge again. Beating it is the proof it stuck.

what we're building

A game this good for everything you teach.

You just played one. We're building games at that level for the ideas kids trip on all year — from food webs to fractions to how a bill becomes law. Whatever you're teaching, there's a game coming that turns it into something they actually want to play.

how they're made

If it isn't fun, it doesn't ship.

A game kids don't want to play can't teach them anything — or tell you anything. So every Classion game is built with veteran classroom teachers, playtested with real students, and reworked until it clears one bar: genuinely fun to play, honest about the concept, and full of signal about how each kid thinks. We're game designers, educators, and not-long-ago students ourselves — a quiz in a costume doesn't leave the room.

the fine print, un-weaselled

Free for teachers. Safe for kids.

  • Free. Actually free. No trial clock, no seat math, no card on file. Teach a class, the classroom's on us.
  • No logins for kids. They join with a code on the board. No emails, no passwords, no "I forgot mine."
  • COPPA & FERPA, done right. We take the least data we can and guard what we keep. The boring part, handled.
  • Standards baked in, not taped on. Each game is built around one NGSS or Common Core objective — the idea isn't glued to arcade filler.
